NEW! TeacherTube Visitor Map (TeacherTube.com/map.php)
Many of you have emailed wanting someway and somehow to show educators in your respective area that use TeacherTube. Well, I just added a Recent Visitor Map located at http://www.teachertube.com/map.php.Some may ask, "Will my information or location be leaked?" This is a big N-O! The only information given is the city location of the TeacherTube Member or random visitor of TeacherTube. If you select the thumbnail, it will show a bubble locating where the member or visitor is located without given a name just the city's name.
This is actually neat not only seeing TeacherTube Users in your area but around the country. Keep on "Teaching the World!"
Enjoy.

New Video Tool Bar @ TeacherTube!
I have edited the tool bar on the New Video page. Since we are getting closer to the 10,000 mark, I figure it is probably getting time to get organized...a little anyway. Below is a shot of the new tool bar with active link provided:
The tool bar will allow you to sort through videos by the original categories such as Most Recent, Most Viewed, and so on as usual, however, now you can sort by All Time, Today and Month. Also you can sort by Channel rather than just seeing the top Most Recent or Viewed on the Channel Detail page.
The display icon to the right will allow you to display a detailed version or list version.
Let me know if you guys see any where else we can enhance TeacherTube, I'm always game to make things easier.
Enjoy!

Welcome to The Tack Board
Hello TeacherTube Members and anyone who accidentally hit the wrong link. However you got here, I hope this blog I am calling The Tack Board will help many of you out in your Educational lives. English Teachers, give me a break on the grammar. I would of added spelling to that list but technology blessed us with spell check. So take it easy on me and I'll do my best.
Given the name, The Tack Board, it would represent all the thoughts and ideas that could be "tacked up" into once place. Some of you maybe like myself, if I write it down or tack it up on the wall or tack it on the fridge, I'll remember it later. I also hope that many more of you who are tech savvy may have some great ideas that could possibly be great additions to TeacherTube and the Members.
I wanted to create this blog to reach out to you due to the fact I have some cool new TeacherTube tools to release that I have created over time and really needed a place to test them out. Most importantly, letting me know if some of the creations are good ideas or a bad ideas. I'm always game for criticism.
I hope you all enjoy and I'll see you back at the TeacherTube Community.
